Even if the Base Unit (Echo) LED is solid green, the app may show “Reconnect”, or throwing darts may not trigger a response.
In such cases, it may be because the Base Unit is connected to the Grandarts App on another device, or because the Base Unit was paired directly from your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Please follow the steps below to correct the connection state.
1: Check that Grandarts App isn’t running on another device
- The Base Unit can connect to only one device at a time.
- If the Grandarts App is running on another phone/tablet, please quit the app on that device.
- If multiple devices try to connect simultaneously, the app may show “Reconnect,” or dart throws may not be detected.
2: Check and remove pairing
01 Open your phone’s Bluetooth settings
- Open the “Settings” app on iPhone or Android
- Tap “Bluetooth”
- Look for a device named “GRAN-Echo” or similar
02 Remove manual OS-level pairing
- Tap the “i” or settings icon next to the device name
- Select “Forget This Device” or “Unpair”
- Close the Bluetooth settings screen
This removes any manual OS-level pairing. From now on, do not re-pair in the OS; connect from within the app instead.
03 Reconnect from the Grandarts App
- Confirm the Base Unit’s power LED is blinking red
- Launch the Grandarts App
- Open the connection screen from the camera icon at the top right of the Home screen
- Tap Reconnect for “Base Unit”
- Success when the LED turns solid green and the app shows Connected
