After completing the initial setup and starting a game, you may find that throwing darts does not trigger a response in the app, or that scores are not displayed.
If you encounter this situation, please check the following points first to help identify the cause.
Check Connection Status
- Select “Local”
- Tap the Settings (GRAN EYE icon) in the top right corner
- The GRAN EYE Connection Status screen will show the connection state of the camera and base unit
01 Check Camera and Base Unit Connections
On the “Connection Status” screen, make sure that both cameras (left / right) and the base unit are shown as connected.
✅ Example of connected (a green check mark will appear)
❌ Example of not connected (a red “Reconnect” button will appear)
- If any devices are not connected, tap the red “Reconnect” button to reconnect them.
If the base unit shows solid green but the app displays “Reconnect”, the connection with the base unit has not been established correctly.
In this case, please see No Response When Throwing Darts [1]: Check Pairing.
02 Check Echo Unit Installation
- Ensure the Echo unit is firmly touching the back of the dartboard
- Ensure the Echo connector is fully inserted into the base unit
・Role of Echo: It is a sensor that detects the vibration and sound when darts hit the board. ・Why proper contact is needed: If it is not firmly attached to the back, the Echo unit cannot correctly detect hits, which may cause missed responses or scores not displaying.
Next Step
If the issue is not resolved after checking the above, proceed to >No Response When Throwing Darts [2]: Echo Test.
