Remote Doubles on GRANBOARD

Remote Doubles is a mode where you can team up with a friend who is in a different location to play doubles matches online.

You can always communicate with your doubles partner via in-app calls while searching for opponents in the lobby.

Doubles Role: 1st Player

The 1st Player has the ability to operate the app screen during a doubles mode.

Examples of Operation

• Change game options
• Send match request
• Accept match requests etc.

How to pair up when you are the 1st Player

To pair up as the 1st Player, you must send a partner request to an online friend.

1. ONLINE PLAY
2. Remote Doubles
3. Select 1st Player
4. Select the player you use
5. Find a friend to send a partner request to from the list
6. Tap "REQUEST"

Doubles Role: 2nd Player

The 2nd Player does not need to operate the app screen while playing doubles. Follow the screen operated by the 1st Player until the match starts.

*After the match ends, you must exit the results screen on your own.

How to pair up when you are the 2nd Player

To pair up as the 1st Player, wait for a partner request from the 1st Player.
Once you receive the request, approve it to pair up.

If both players are ready to pair up immediately, wait for a partner request on the waiting screen.

4. Select the player you use
5. Wait a partner request from your friend
6. Tap "ACCEPT"

02Your friend is not yet ready to pair up

If your friend is not yet ready and you cannot pair up immediately, you may play singles online while waiting.

1. ONLINE PLAY
2. Remote Doubles
3. Select 2nd Player
4. Select the player you use
5. Tap "Play singles while waiting"
6. Enjoy the singles match until your friend is ready

Once your friend is ready, have them send you a partner request.
