The problem described in this article has been resolved by updating the web page.
It has been a week since the GRANBOARD Tournament also known as GRAN ONLINE is released.
Within a week ,there have been more than 300 tournament has been created！
The number of tournament created and number of participator has exceeded our expectation.
Unfortunately, there some issue that's suspending part of tournament from completing. Currently, our development team has noticed and identified the issues and they are working on solving the known issue.
Here by we would like to share the information we have with our users.
Time limit to forfeit does not work as expected(GRAN ONLINE Web Service)
When the 「Time limit to forfeit is on」,in certain condition Tournament progress does not proceed as expected with the condition below apply.
▶︎Issue with Winner side bracket
- Both participants were recognized as default participants in Round 1, making moving on to Round 2 impossible.
▶︎Issue with Loser side bracket
- Both participators are considered default, resulting in the next round not being played properly
- Loses by default, but the winner cannot advance to the next round.
- The winner of the loser's bracket cannot advance to the finals with the winner of the winner's bracket.
▶︎Issues caused by simultaneous defaults need to be addressed.
- If there are too many simultaneous losses of both participator due to time limits expired, the processing will be overloaded and tournament progress will be suspended.
One issues mentioned been fixed、fixing patch will be attach along with the next update.
Implement of Notification function.(GranBoard APP)
To solve and prevent the fundamental cause of both participator being defaulted, we planned to solve the issue with the implement of device notification push, user are able been notify even the app is not turned on.

Types of notification including
- Match card for the 1st round has been confirmed.
- It’s time to check- in
- Tournament has started, 1st round will be starting soon
- Match card for the 2nd round has been confirmed
- Entrant got defaulted
- Tournament has ended
※The device push notification feature will be available in a future app update
In addition, we are also working on the following minor fixes and improvements.
Display revised including (GRAN ONLINE Web service)
- Several country's flag could not be display normally
- Cover image could not be display normally
- Incorrect Time zone display
Improvement in UI including (GRAN ONLINE Web service)
- The default of tournament arrangement display on all tournament will set as closest starting date.
- Add tournament status filter
